I have a Vu Qube sat. / the remote is not registering the Elevation change, anyone have a idea on how to fix?


elevation does work on sat but not registering on remote.

 

There is a closed feedback loop for elevation and one for rotation. The motors drive the dish around and up/down and then a sensor reads back the position to the remote continuously. It sounds like the elevation sensor is either blocked with debris, or loose, or malfunctioning.

If it is under warranty, then you should call the manufacturer support line at 952-922-6889. If it is not under warranty, then you can try to remove the top lid and look for anything visibly loose or disconnected. Sometimes it can be obvious, sometimes not. If you can't find anything obvious, then you still may want to call the factory for advice on that.
