Or plexiglass. Any glass shop would likely give you some scraps. If not it’s pretty cheap to buy. Then you could paint the inside any colour you want and Mr. Jinx won’t scratch it off.

    pumpkinishere and bentstrider83 Thank this.

Little velcro might put a cover over the switch, keep them usable maybe? Something like this?

I do have something like that back at the house. Been contemplating just putting big bowls and a couple of litter boxes at the house. But I'm worried about the landlord saying something. So the thick material will probably be a solution until I finally get myself back into something local again.

Ya but being a cat lover myself I would want my cat safe. No throwing the cat out of the truck. Just having the company of the cat I can see myself finding a solution other than me having the cat being a problem. Like I mentioned those square light covers for the trailer lights I would use those and just have plenty of duck tape and re tape it every night before going to sleep. Or whenever your worried about the cat getting out.

I always drape an extra large thick towel over the dash when parked. Keeps the sun from fading the gauge faces and needles and printing on switch panels as well as keeping it cooler and dust free. Might work to keep a courious kitty from messing with the dash. Can also spray it with the stuff that is supposed to repel cats and dogs.

If it was the old school toggle switch you could make a guard for it.

I like the Velcro idea. A couple strips on some thin MDF or Plexi and it would be easy to use.

Those plastic wall outlet blanking plates are dirt cheap and readily available at Home Depot etc for less than a dollar.

Another idea could be to take the wire going into the fuse and extend it up to the dash and put a toggle switch. Kind of a lock out switch. You could use a couple of fuse taps and come out the front side where the fuse would e and put an inline fuse in there before the switch. That would eliminate cutting anyone on your truck.

If you are not concerned about being able to use the window, why don't you just unscrew the cover and unplug it.

If there are any loose wires either shrink wrap them or tape them well and secure them, put your screws back in, and Kitty can play all day-and-night.

Fuse panel under the steering wheel. Pulling the fuse will likely disable all power windows.
