The sheriff's office said something to the effect the driver had noticed his pay stopped coming into bank account several weeks back...whether or not that's the case or not remains to be seen...but knight does have a history of "stealing" payroll...i guess will find out in due time..but still no excuse for pulling this crap..

When I drove for CRE in 2005, to get to the dispatchers or anyone in operations, you had to go through metal detectors, and screening same as the airport. They had their own ( armed with handguns ) security force all around the dispatchers, and operations. I questioned why this was, and the dude that trained me had been there for quite awhile, told me that a driver ( lease op ) came into dispatch and just about beat, bare handed, his dispatcher AND the operations manager to death.
It's too bad this guy that snapped didn't work for Swift or Slime.

Not a good idea to screw former homeless people out of money.

Lots of people say that street justice isn't justice.
It isn't rich man's justice that is most certain.
Rich men snuff people for money, not for principle.

I remember in the '90's when this sort of thing happened on a monthly basis at the Post Office. It's a shame that whenever something like this happens, the term POSTAL comes to mind....even to this day.

This reminds me of the time a driver shot a dispatcher at TRL in Pittston Pennsylvania for screwing the driver's wife while he was over the road

In my very brief time at Werner, I remember the fleet managers being behind ballistic glass in Omaha.

He should have shot out all the radiators of the trucks still in the yard before saving the last one for himself.
