Hello, I am not exactly a new driver but I am trying to switch from running a moving company to working by myself. While I love the moving industry, it has been very difficult for me to find people who want to work after Covid. Right now, I have a route with a warehouse that pays well but it can be inconsistent work. I'm looking to work with several warehouses to fill up my week. My problem is, I keep finding companies like Acies, Select, etc. and they wanted a copy of my SSN, Birth Certificate, and I honestly don't feel comfortable giving out these information to businesses that aren't in my state.
I used Indeed.com to find the warehouse I currently work with and they are based in my state. I haven't had much luck since then and I could use your advice. Thanks.
EDIT: I forgot to add that I drive a 16' box truck.

Chinatown Thanks this.

Are you using/looking for a dispatching service? I think you will have better results establishing a relationship with customers & warehouses. A dispatch service is only going to look online, take a fee, and tell you what they found.
