And don't forget to document everything , Its your word against theirs.
The complaint you file with a fmcsa field office or online will undoubtedly make them mad
Infact with good documentation they will not only be mad but very regretful .

Werner is an all elog company wondering how anyone could be FORCED to run when out of hours on elog?
LaBubba Thanks this. -
all the documatation you will ever need is on the box. I just dont talk to dispatchers on the cell
-
National guard... Once you disconnect the elogs theres no way to track you so you can pretty much do a quick 3hour round trip and blame it on the system(I had the old unreliable Qualcomm) and them drop it in the shop on your day off and run paperlogs
-
yeah I heard that you can make more money running paper logs.
-
I like paperlogs because when it comes to resting is better for example if you are running out of time and Tue closest truck stop is full you can't move without getting into violation with elogs, paperlogs you can work around it
-
yeah that is true

This is tricky.
Guys that run illegal or push the limits are doing dispatch a favor, and they might return that favor by giving you all the choice loads later. If you get a reputation for being a strict by the book company man, you might not get the miles when things slow down. This varies greatly among carriers and dispatchers. In the end you have to go by gut feel on how you handle it. -
I just wanna start out by the book, cause I know the consequences of running illegally. Plus I do not have a family to support so I am good to run what ever miles I can.
