2%-3% for finding a load on a load board? 4-6K per year for... a few customers with 10-15 trucks and you can make a living.
Yeah But there are Problems that come a long too. Trust is a big issue. Now that the rates are starting to come down a bit, a few of my Guys are starting to question me and want that October, November Cheese
You spoiled them. Now you will tell them that party is over and it is the highest time carries stopped screwing brokers and shippers like that. Give them a little reality humility lesson now.
Lol believe it or not, My guys were screwed the past 2 years. The rates were terrible 18-pre covid. I’m glad we got to milk the #### out of customers and brokers. Feels good!
What would you pay a person to do invoices, and pull permits, I do mostly OD loads. And help look for some loadboard freight. I was thinking 5% of every load? Sound fair?
Some people do what you are entertaining. After a while they hire other people and train them building their business. You can do this anywhere. Where are you located? You will build relationships just like anything else. There is a guy that comes on the forum been doing this for decades.
So funny how people are brainwashed to think they are screwing or getting 1 over on some #### stain broker when they get a rate they should be getting almost all the time on a few loads. Such a ### backwards business I swear.
