    What if I stop using it then? Would I have to get it in writing I stopped? or could I just tell the employer I no longer take it? Confusing.

    No difference - even if it aggravated an existing condition, the person still died from withdrawal. As opposed to OD, which is different altogether. Thank you.

    The Sheriff of my hometown used to keep a bottle in a locked closet for any prisoner he locked up that developed the DTs. Today they use other meds. There are 3 substances where withdrawal by itself can kill. Alcohol, Benzo's and Barbituates. I won't say death is not possible from withdrawal from something else. If so it was something else that contributed. These 3 things I just listed are PHYSICALLY addicting.and the process is not pretty. This is not the same as an OD. It is totally possible to OD from something that is not physically addicting.
