I get paid hourly as well, doesn't mean I don't like to make up time -
A few years ago I was leaving a Flying J at about 2 AM, Came to a Stop light for a left turn, There was construction work being done in the Day time there in that Intersection and the Light would not give me the Left turn Green. i sat there and
Sat there.... Finley I make my turn..... There goes the Bubble gum machine. He walks up to my door and I was Laughing.... He asked what was so funny, and I told him that I took at least 10 min. looking everywhere to see if a Officer was watching that light, and couldn't figure out where he had come from. He had been right behind my trailer from the Flying J parking lot, so close that I could not see him. He just gabbed a bit checked my papers and let me go, saying that he was going to go back to the flying J and catch the next nut that sat there for 10 min at a light not turning green.
as far as speeding. I am not governed but I keep it no more that 5 over.tinytim Thanks this. -
I usually keep it down to 55 for fuel economy. I will run it up to help other guys out on 2-lanes, and try to keep up with traffic flow in high-density traffic.
Yeah... in "probable cause" states like IN and PA (for example) its stupid to speed - its like hanging a sign on the back of your trailer listing the OOS violations, and "PLEASE INSPECT ME!" -
