This is simply NOT true. They don't like young bucks either. I've tried my grunts on them younger, my age, and older it just doesn't work. When ya'll shed your antlers this year ya think you could UPS em to me. Being a 6 point apparently ain't doing the job, maybe next year being an 18 point will workMr Ed Thanks this.

Never go head on with a moose. You will lose.
Saw a Swift whack one in northern Idaho of all places one fall. Just awful for both the animal and truck. The moose was a steaming pile of guts and the truck was also steaming. -
I was told that once. But I went at it head on with a .375 H&H. I didn't lose that one.yuban, JPenn and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this.

Even though it's not nearly as frequent more people are killed by moose than any other animal. They tend to go through the windshield of a 4-wheeler.
Every time I went to ME I looked for one and never seen one for years. I talked with a lady up there and she said they were real shy. I got to the paper mill and was sitting in my truck when one came out on the other side of the river. -
Man.....that is a totally awesome setup!!!!....very nice!!!Sublime Thanks this.

That's what they call a moose masher up in these parts. Is that a single latch or do you have to undo the bolts to open hood
