Just bought a Garmin Otr700 since they had them on sale. Before heading out with it for the first time I wanted to make sure and update the unit. When I started the download yesterday it said estimated time to download was about 3 1/2 hours. Once I confirmed and started the update it stated 24 hours.... fast forward 24 hours I still have 10 hours showing to update....? Is this normal? I have fiber internet as well. Thank for any and all help

The short answer: no, it is not.

If you haven't already--I'd be on the phone with Garmin's tech support (assuming your internet connection is in fact ok).

You should have a tech support phone # in your Garmin literature (along with tech support available hours--and days).

Let us know what you find out from them, & how this pans out....o_O

For those who use Garmin OTR’s use the Garmin Dezl app on your phone to connect to your GPS via bluetooth so you can get live traffic updates and re-route options in any event of delays on your route….
