"I told him what happened and asked if he would please call the truck company the police sheriff troopers and an ambulance which he did. They showed up and saw my injuries and the blood choke marks on my neck etc etc. Photos were taken. The crazy Guy came driving up in the truck while I was being looked at in the ambulance. I don't know what was said but I asked the sheriff if he was going to be arrested because he tried to kill me. They told me no because they were giving him a citation or something and he had to deliver the load."

Last part of this statement makes you WONDER about the whole story. They let him go BECAUSE he had a LOAD to DELIVER :biggrin_2555:

This was after the OP walked 2 miles...waited for an ambulance and the cops and was being treated..and then the "crazy guy" drove past. At that rate of speed the delivery wasn't going to be made for another week or 2 anyway. :biggrin_25512:

Not sure where you people are getting the idea he didnt take photos or waited weeks to. Obviously he said he took photos, doesnt say when but photos are taken of the injuries.

If you ( anyone responding ) read the original post you will see that the OP stated " call the truck company the police sheriff troopers and an ambulance which he did. They showed up and saw my injuries and the blood choke marks on my neck etc etc. Photos were taken".

So likely the photos were taken by the sheriff troopers, the part that does not add up is a lot get arrested or at leas held until things are looked into for a lot less than this , not given a citation or something then let go because he has a load to deliver !

Sounds fishy does'nt it?No officer will let someone go to deliver a load if he harmed someone in this manner. You get cuffed and hauled to jail.

So which is it? The sheriff was called by the truck driver you walked 2 miles to get to? Or was he called by the nurse at the hospital. Lots of holes in this story.

Making me have second thoughts as well. Theres no way cop is going to let a driver go scott free because he has a load. But if hes over his HOS, big 'ol ticket and put OOS....Apparently a driver going over his HOS is more dangerous than someone who is mentally ill.

I just read on a website about DOT regs and this was what was written for mental illness.

According to this, the guy that assaulted you shouldnt even be a driver.

Unless his doctor prescribed him medication and insures the meds will not "adversely affect the driver's ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle."

First post! No mention of LEO or ambulance or photos that occured "later"?

Second post...after several TTR members started picking up on inconsistencies or logic within the first post!

Third post...the story and incident facts keep evolving!

Perhaps some school boy/girl is trying to write a new reality show or script for a mini series.....or just a troll!
