Any o/o that has been around will tell you that these things happen and it really sucks when it does. The major kick in the head for you unfortunately is that it happened so early. Rollin coal brings up two very good points. One, those year trucks are very difficult to have as a small business. But that's done and over with now. But you may want to start considering the idea of dumping the tractor. Trade, sell, burn down for the insurance, whatever else you can do to get the truck out of your life. The second point that he brings up which really can save you big Dollars is doing your research. You've been dealt a bad hand which sucks. But you gotta play it to the best of your ability. Other people (shops, tow guys, dealers, brokers) they do not care about your success, only you can do that. They care about your money, having road service come out for nuts bolts and screws is way too costly. Other o/o know your in a bad place, we hope you can climb out. The dealer knows your in a bad place too, they couldnt care less. Try to remain calm b/c the next bunch of decisions you make will be the ones that make or break you. Side note: attorneys' cost money, if you go that way be sure it's worth the risk.
