    Dangerous
    49 CFR 172.504(b)

A freight container, unit load device, transport vehicle, or rail car which contains non-bulk packages with two or more categories of hazardous materials that require different placards specified in Table 2 of 49 CFR 172.504(e) may be placarded with a DANGEROUS placard instead of the separate placarding specified for each of the materials in Table 2 of 49 CFR 172.504(e). However, when 1,000 kg (2,205 pounds) aggregate gross weight or more of one category of material is loaded therein at one loading facility on a freight container, unit load device, transport vehicle, or rail car, the placard specified in Table 2 of paragraph (e) of this section for that category must be applied
He has 2500 of flammable that = flammable placard
He has 50 of corrosive and 100 of toxic that= no placard
If you read the above regulation where it says two or more categories of hazardous materials that require different placards-in order to require different placards you need to have 1001 pounds. For an additional example if you have 600p of toxic and 500p of corrosive you still need no placard-even though the total is over 1001-because the 600p and 500p do not require placards

Key words: that require different placards

The 50lbs of corrosive not only equals no placard it equals no RQ hazmat. So you are back to one RQ hazmat which is flammable.
