    Lighter the tarps, the less durable they are and harder they are to secure. Pick your poison, heavy durable tarps, or lightweight fragile tarps. I could see the lightweight tarps being great for some stuff, but they wouldn’t work with us with our odd shaped machinery loads.

    You could always go with those blue tarps at Walmart, they are pretty light.
