You're logic is a bit off. You're not a teenager driving around in your parent's stationwagon. This is a 40 ton, 65mph missile. Dents, scratches, etc show reckless behavior. Eventually, that scratch and dent could become a dead family. They have to look at behavior and patterns as a life and death result, because it very well could come to that. What "adds character" to you, isn't viewed in the same way by an insurance company.
alright dj, it's spilt milk now. keep dreaming of firing instead of sympathizing buddy. that's the right attitude.
I think most folks view ANY dents you add to a truck a VERY bad thing.... Sounds like you got a pretty good 2nd chance.... Heck...if you have 3 dents in a few months...what would your truck look like if you had the same one for 2 or 3 years...sounds like really bad luck, or a skill issue...the fact you did not report it till asked what happened makes it sound even worse...you tried to hide it, and that usually indicates fault... Good Luck!! Just try to be more transparent in the future...maybe you were worried about getting fired cause deep down you knew it was just a matter of time since you had already violated company policies/rules. Sorry to sound harsh, but until you have proven yourself, most companies must assume the worse...2 or 3 dents=2 or 3 close calls with a possible major accident...and I bet that scared the heck outta the company.
Hey man, there aint no enemies allowed in my house or this thread. get the story straight before you decide to pitch in some thought. My 3 were a side swipe(which u saw in the photo), a broken bolt off the hinge of the hood(undetermined to them), and a bent panel (slight jacknife) on an older truck not shown. Like I said, there aint no enemies in my house so save that for the real world because I'm out of PAM.
apparently fidgeting with these comment parameters are like fired shots, very hard to retrieve once spat. i wasn't even a 3 page.
