That's real simple....Choose your loads...Take tarped loads only when necessary...And ask for more money when you do have to tarp....

Btw...Tarping is no big deal.....I have taken Rolled Felt loads that don't need to be tarped that take longer to secure them than say a tarped load of shingles would.....Only reason why I take them...They pay better than than tarped shingle loads......

Uh...You do or rather can, haul a dripping, bloody, load on a flat....Ask anyone who's hauled salted cowhides......

I have.....I have hauled onions before too.....You also see 'Bedders hauling melons....Not that I would....Looks way too cheap and heavy for my tastes....

Speak for yourself. Shouldve had my 2 cluster #### loads this week. Nah they werent really that bad put my old knowledge to good use again lol. Tent poles, chairs, tables, and canvass from country stampede. First load was tables and chairs...all shrink wrapped swear that struff was stacked at least 13'10". And I couldn't take my eyes off my mirrors going under stop lights power lines and that 13'11" bridge I took the hammer lane lol.

2nd was the pipe and more canvas not stacked as high but they didn't get it fully on the trailer and I was about 106" wide. So much for I70 it was hwy 24 most of the for all but 5 miles lol. I missed flat bedding but forgot what kind of workout it was. My butt is out of shape lol

Was over visiting with my brother, a friend of his was also over. My brother says hey you remember roger, he drives truck too.
Then he turns to roger and says he drives truck, flatbed. Roger just looked at me and said "man, that's hard core"
    Roger pulled orange vans around.
