You've been lucky perhaps. Texas is number one.

If you get a ticket but you want to fight it, how do you go about it if the ticket was in a state you very rarely go to? Or do you just say screw it and pay it?

well you have a few choices

    1) say heck with it and pay it
    2) hire a lawyer to fight it for you
    3) get a load to where you have to be at court and appear

either way you going to lose some money but it just depends on how much you will lose. depending on the ticket it may not even be worth fighting and just pay it and move on. Others however one may want to goto court and fight it.

Heard somewhere on here that if the ticket says you must appear I would forgo the lawyer and show up or get the lawyer and show up. Someone mentioned on here that they just hired a lawyer and found out that license was suspended because on the ticket it stated that he/she had to appear.

not a lawyer not pretending to be one, but this would be about the best advice anyone could give you besides just dont pay it, and never goto texas, and just throw your license away....lmao....
