It's just drivers that let DOT run them over if your just a steering wheel holder there going to get you....I've been inspected over ten times in Texas and never a issue.

Texas has always been an interesting state for me. I don't run Texas too much anymore, but I used to have a Kenworth T600 that said "Jersey City, NJ" on the doors. Coming out of Brownsville I got stopped no less than 6 times. Just to "make sure" I guess. The most ridiculous time was when the officer thought my trailer's mudflaps were up too high. Lol. But that was 10 years ago. Since then, I've never had a problem running Texas. I just came across 10 and 20 the other day, the entire length of the state. Not one problem.

That's a pretty big state to avoid in the middle of the country, but since you've made up your over-reactionary mind, I'll gladly take all the freight you're passing up on.

They will measure mudflaps and give a ticket if they're even 1/2" too short.. AZ & NM bad about that also.

Wow. The cop admitted to me that he pulled me over because of the Jersey base plates. He said there were instances of drug running in the past. I told him the strongest stuff he would find is Tylenol extra strength.
