I worked for Schneider for 3 months. I have only two negatives to say about them. Pay sucks and evening and weekend support shift sucks donkey balls. I got good miles and got home when I wanted. Never had an issue with pay or reimbursements.

 

No doubt about it.....The first give away is that he/she hasn't replied since they posted their screed.

 

oh I believe this, and it is a tragedy on many levels beyond your own personal one. Sears is old school and has always been an upstanding company to do business with...making sure everyone is treated well and paid fairly among that. In other words they don't stand a chance these days against Wal-Mart and their giant sucking sound race to the bottom. Sears will probably be chapter 7 sometime within the next 10 years if not sooner. Pretty sure I heard recently they'd closed or will be closing a LOT of their locations.

After reading this thread, I've reconsidered my options about Schneider. I live in the High Desert in CA. and Swift, CR England and CRST were on my list but considering where I'm at and what I need training in, SNI sounds like the best scenario for me at the moment. Old Dominion and KKW Trucking are good too from what I've heard and I have a recruiter calling me tomorrow from KKW but I think they're gonna want 1 year experience before I can apply for them, which i dont have. Just got my Class A and all endorsements but no tractor-trailer experience nor a trucking school certificate.

 

I went through the one in West Memphis, Ar. in 1992.Fun times driving up and down the service roads on the delta lol
