Check under other names that use their address, last I knew they were posting under several different names, to be honest I haven't checked the board for over a week, took a hot load so all of my guys could be off for the weekend, went from Ks, to Idaho, Portland, Chico, Chino, then picked up in Fullerton then over to Sun Country to check in on my truck, and just got home, still need to unload my truck.

I just noticed this thread yesterday and it was really helpful to me in a sense it brings me to ask a question. What would you say has been the more accurate way of setting up policy as far as getting paid for your hauls. I was under the influence all car haulers were paid COD. I've yet to start hauling, my trailer is currently being built so I'm in he process of setting up my business as far as DOT, MC,TAX INFO ect
-
Best way to get paid is don't haul for people who have even 1 negative for non-payment.
Some work is cod but most is billing. This also depends on what kind of trailer you're working with? Back when I started out with a 4 car hauler I had a lot more Cod work but with a stinger now nearly all work is billing with the occasional Cod car thrown in if I'm feeling up for it. -
Sounds good, a four car hauler is exactly what I have.
-
Just make sure you don't forget to bill and go after people that owe you. It's one of the reasons we got in the hole with DAS.

i just looked on CD and i do not see anything for dependable or DAS logistics anywhere on there i looked up their authority and they are still active .... but then i found a site that has employee reviews there is a spot on the review you can put (CONS) ... that employee says the con was a couple bad decisions shut it down and that was on 8-4-2016

Haven't seen a load from them in a few months now. I wonder if they lost some major contracts or something.

Or they finally ran out of idiots to haul for free!passingthru69, Viceroy1 and Pullin2 Thank this.
