DO NOT HAUL FOR DEPENDABLE AUTO SHIPPERS

I was on DAS "A" list for many years, took care of most of their VIP corporate moves, NEVER had an issue of any kind, then about 6 years ago they cleaned house, that's when this all started, we probably do less than 6 moves a year for them now.

 

I could tell you some hair raising DAS stories from back in the 90's when they managed the logistics for Nissan...Oh brother. Won't put it on the web, but over a couple of beers...I have a couple of good stories to tell.

 

Just an update, called about two non-paid invoices from May/June last two items we hauled for them, they can't even give us a date for payment.

It's only a bit over a grand, but I'm sure there are a lot of little guys that this is going to affect greatly. Dealer Track should pull their ability to post loads.

 

Next time you see one of their trucks, block it in, call them and tell them when you get your money, you'll move.

 

The few drivers I work with won't even consider them and I assume this is one of the reasons and their inconsistency. They post some stuff for $0.14/mile. Who does that????

 

If anything is posted for under $.50 a mile, it doesn't exist in my world, I don't care who's it is.

 

I was hoping that was a typo but I see that, apparently, you're being serious. I know crackheads who would refuse to work for that little.

 

Well what do you know, gave them a negative rating and 4 days later we get a fully paid check in the mail, just figured that since I put the bad on here I will report the good as well!!

 

Did the check clear?

 

The check BETTER clear, it's over a grand, if it doesn't their CD rating is the last thing they will be worrying about.
