DO NOT HAUL FOR DEPENDABLE AUTO SHIPPERS

I'd hate to hate to put liens on customers' vehicles but, that's what they'd get if they don't pay.

 

You may be surprised how well the car hauling industry/ world can do without you.

 

any one still not getting paid from these scum f.u.c.k.i.n.g c.u.n.t.s???? they owe me still $6600 that was due 10/6/15 and no word from them cant get ahold of anyone in accounting and their broker bond or trust has been replaced for the 3rd time in 3 months and i can not get anywhere with the bonds either with these scum bags

 

im about to go locally and pick up a load from them and deliver the crap "late" .... very very very "LATE"

 

I realize they jammed you and you're pissed, but taking a load of vehicles from them and holding it hostage only screws the poor sap that owns the vehicles. I doubt it will have an affect on DAS.
Just my 10 pesos or 2 cents.

It was my first load ever hauled for them and when i booked it they only had 1 or 2 very old no pay complaints on central .... and with in the 30 days of me delivering the load they had got 30+ no pay ratings ....

 

Ok so I delivered a number of loads for DAS and one in particular was a recent load that paid $6,600 in which I immediately submitted to my factoring company upon delivery. My factoring company told me they would not fund the invoice because DAS is not paying their bills. In fact, my factoring company told me that another driver of theirs is still owed more than $20,000 and the invoice is now more than 70 days old. I looked on Central and seen their rating is low and 32 negative ratings exists for non-payment within the last 30 days alone! I've been running since Jan 2015 and have never really dealt with a non-payment issue until a few weeks ago and possibly with DAS on this load. What recourse do I have? Do I sue them? If so, I'm based in Michigan and both companies are based out of other states. Do I hire a lawyer in the state I need to sue them in perhaps? I seen one other person talk about placing a lien on the cars. How would you do that considering I have already delivered them? I have to say that I like one post suggesting that they take another load for DAS and then simply sit on the load until their invoice gets paid! Clearly this is improper, but would consider doing it if I was sure that it would amount to a civil matter and not criminal. $6,600 is a lot of money for me right now. Can't just recover from that kind of loss like a large company may do.... Any ideas?

 

You didn't notice all the negatives? I would get started on the lein process as well as filing on thier bond asap.

Also you may be able to get in touch with the owners of the vehicles and explain to them by law they are obligated to pay you for transport if the broker defaults. I'm willing to bet a few would be willing to dispute thier credit card charge and pay you directly
