FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) wouldn't apply in a divorce. Divorce isn't a medical condition.

Jmho! Your not the only one who's gone through a divorce while out on the road. I think that is no reason to decide to default on your obligation. You can't put your life on hold every time there is a set back in life. You'll only fall farther behind. You should learn to quit being knee jerk and making rash decisions based on emotions. Sorry if this sounds harsh. Again, it's just my opinion.

Chalk that cost up to the divorce.... It's expensive because it's worth it.

How does FMLA relate to getting a divorce?

Correct, you can be fueling, waiting to get loaded, tarping, etc but my point is why. You cannot drive or do anything that would actually make you any money.

In the time we live of political correctness and precious snowflakes I'm sure you could claim emotional stress, or I'm devastated Hillary lost and I need a safe space... Crap goes both ways

Go see your doctor and have him deem you unfit to drive due to anxiety or whatever.

I'm sure you're divorce issues existed before you went out to the company. This is a career not a job you should have handled your divorce first before getting into this.
