California, (of course,) is one of those states. You can't have "unapproved lighting."

I have red LED lights on the back wall of my sleeper. It puts a red glow on the dash and interior.
Also just enough light to see things on my dash, cup holder,ect..

I would think blue lights are illegal but have seen them on other trucks myself.

I've seen blue and I'm sure the drivers with those think they're cool, but they'll think different sitting out behind a scale unhooking them some night....

Better check before you use green, blue or purple.....

There's really not much to understand guys just think its cool and looks good pretty much all there is to it. I think the fad started in quebec(i could be wrong) cause thats were you see it alot those french guys love tricking out there trucks you see some awesome looking truck running up and down the 20, and then it spread to ontario since so many guys do it i don't think the police up here give them any grief about it

    Oldironfan and defencerulez Thank this.

I can't believe you want to spend money on that kind of crap. Save your money in a retirement account...

Most of the time I see blue lights on 401, and oh yea they look like snowplows running on the opposite side of the highway in the middle of the night in the summer...
