Do not use t.a tuckstops!!!!

the company i drive for has over 6,000 trucks and over 15,000 trailers and we are not allowed to use the ta/petro for any reapirs/pm's at all.

had to sit at the flying j last week waiting on roadservice to show up and fix some trailer light when the ta was across the street......

i've had 5 repairs done in the last year at ta and 4 times they broke something on my truck broke a leveling valve doing a frontend alignment, miss installed centramatic's, fixed a/c (had to be repaired again because they did it wrong), changed a wheel seal and broke a abs sensor.......

 

Any of you would eat a sandwich that's sat out for 10.5 hours??? You guys must love e coli.

 

Next time get an egg sandwich from the restaurant Joe

Sorry to hear of your misfortune bud. I NEVER leave MY truck when they are doing a PM. Infact, the Petro in Milan NM did my last one, along with a 3 box change too. They MADE me remove the ignition key and then they ziptied it to the mirror with a red tag on it.
Seeing as TA and Petro are now the same entity......
I feel for you, but I have yet to have any shop start my truck when working on it. Of course, that could be due to the German Shepherd that rides with me too
Either way though, I have yet to have any shop besides the dealer start my rig.
As for the food part.....I never look as I dont eat the crap.

He could hardly have "bashed" T.A. immediately after the alleged incident occured,since he was not a member then.
Not every single person who drives a truck knows of the existence of this,or all trucking forums.

 

How is it that you have had 5 repairs in the last years at TA but yet you are not allowed to use TA for repair?

 

f they paid the lease company,then wouldn't the leasing place offer another trk?

 

i'm a o/o so i can go anyplace i want when i want to have work on done on MY truck. company drivers can't use ta/petro for anything and no company trailers.

i have had good luck with petro but i will not take my truck to ta again
