    Well I’m still running a 3406b. Lol
I’ve got two switches, 1/2 and full. That’s all the programming I have.
I’ve actually got a on/off switch on my shifter too if you want to count that.

I have entered the sleepy little village of Tuckerman Arkansas headed East on hwy 37 for over 20 years now. Ran all CAT motors this whole time. Couple E’s and a few mechanical’s. 6 months ago I ran across a set of 349a Jake’s known as the super Jake for my ol mechanical. Then I put a set of 8 inch straights on. Fast forward a short time later and only on that approach into town is there a no engine brake sign. Idk who got urine in they wheaties but I feel honored. I can also tell em if they didn’t like that previous gear they really ain’t gonna like the next one lmao. To say these Jake’s are loud and embarrassing is an understatement. However my grand kids live right there on that stretch. My grand daughter thinks this ol black Pete is hers and if they think for a second I’m not riding these Jake’s every time I ease by and their are home some one is mistaken.

It's programmed in ECM. You need to have engineering level authority to access ECM programming at this level. Old iron of course is exempt.

So do I understand the Jake might be connected to the transmission? Might be why new to me 2004 Volvo with 12 speed monitor? Automatic acts different shifting at times. I need to play with it more.

Detroit with Eaton Ultrashift. Having the Jake on definitely changes the downshift behavior of the trans.
