I Think its your fault.It is our responsibility to get detailed information about the company in which we are going to apply for job.
Secondly, It's your duty to check your vehicle properly before leaving the service centre.
So, don't get embarrassed and apply in another good company.

Chizek has long had a reputation for being a dump. Before I sign on with a company I look at their equipment. If it's ancient JUNK, they're probably not a good outfit. But the cover can sometimes be deceiving (re: Marten Transport). Next is to come HERE, to this website and do a general search. If the company name comes up 5,10, 50million times in the "report a bad company here" thread, they're probably not a good company. Start reading threads. It is ILLEGAL for a trucking company to try and charge a driver for a repair, even if it IS the driver's fault, unless the driver signs something like an idiot. They do know however that we have no money and can't afford attorneys if they keep up 'lean and hungry' enough. They also 'know' that we are all completely replaceable, because some warm body can jump behind the wheel and make them money. Until said warm body rolls their truck and spreads the load all over a hill.

I knew to avoid these clowns in '04 when I was coming out of school, my instructor at the school said to stay away from them. That was a pretty good clue as to the character of Chizek Transport.
