    dang is this how truckers act? correspond? share experiences of value? maybe i'm wrong thinking about getting into the industry! thought there be more of a brotherhood. seasoned professional learning the rookies. all this chitterchatter sounds like playground s...! i'm desperate for a job, gotta rethink this. appreciate y'all showing some's true attitudes/character. the wise, i salute u...hope y'all stay safe and healthy. peace!

    No...he is just spreading bs...i can assure you he is not a driver....just ignore his bs...many of us will give you the facts as we experience them.

    Perhaps it should say "nobody forced you to stay there....
    One might get snookered into applying and getting hired by a slick recruiter, fancy trucks, etc. But once a person is there, and finds out it all a fallacy, then if they choose to stay, it's on them.

    Don’t worry about this there’s still a lot of good drivers out there willing to help. If you spend enough time here on TTR you will come to know who knows what they’re talking about and who you can reach out to when you have questions and trust they’re giving you a straight answer.

    There are a lot of good people on TTR. I'd say the majority of them will go out of their way to be helpful and encouraging...just like truck drivers anywhere.
    Also, like truck drivers anywhere, we get the occasional jerk. Ignore them, they usually don't last long on here.
    Stick around...there's a world of education available to you on TTR.

    Yes I Drive for knight, and I wish I would have started with some other company. Even Swift would have probably been a better choice. So far I can only get about 2,000 miles a week if that. It will give all the miles to the drivers they already have they don't give a **** about you or need you. And when you're making only about two-thirds what they make how the hell are you supposed to make ends meet answer :you can't!!! I've had them rip me off in short my hours in their electronic logs because I added up all the hours I ran and on that week one day I was sitting around the next day I was sitting around for 6 hours. Well guess what that week I ran out of ours somehow even though I did not have one day running more than 10 hours! I added all this up and went over it several times and guess what I was short at least 10 Drive ours somehow well where did they go we're never got an answer!!!

    Then the next week I was given hey relay load at the Atlanta yard. Well guess what the seal on that #### thing was broken and there's no paperwork in the trailer. I called night dispatch and told them about it because by the time I discovered this trailer gauges back and my driver manager are asleep in their beds. I tell them I'm not going to advance this load because when I get to the receiver you know what will happen they will reject that load. They told me okay then my driver manager calls me the next morning asking why I had not delivered that load which was due before he even got up. I told him if the seal is broken. He said it's not good enough. I told them oh yeah well I looked in the back of the trailer and there are proxies shifted everywhere that means that load is shifted it's unsafe and I'm calling Captain this ship sorry you're getting the message late it's not safe to move it. I got out of being disciplined on that one by the skin of my teeth and what am I supposed to do about that??? Well that one delayed me another half a day before they could find me another load. Oh and by the way there no empty trailers at Atlanta yard or any night yard whatsoever. If you need an empty trailer you will have to go 50 to 100 miles out of route to go fetch one.

    Then on another week I went to Colorado do you live alone well guess what the address was wrong on the bill of lading he tells me it needs to go on the other side of town. We'll good because the whole highway system was jammed up with a tanker that wrecked off the road that week and I had to go through that traffic not once to get to the wrong receiver, but to get to the one that address that was not on the bill of lading. This took out most of the day. Then I picked up a trailer which I did inspect at their yard and I went 30 miles to a brewery. Rock that trailer in there and they said oh we're going to reject that trailer because it has a silicone repair on it not a willed. I had to take that piece of junk back to the Knight yard and tell them what happened and boom a waste of a day.

    I've gone through a month of this now of nothing but headaches and problems which amount to only about 2,000 miles a week with me running like hell and busting my ##***g *ss off.

    Now let's get to their safety stuff and bonuses. Your safety system is a joke you supposedly can lower your score
    By watching safety videos on their app. But their app is broken and has been for well over two months now so you can't use it pretty neat trick huh. It gets better. He told me that I "exceeded maximum please speed". Well the speed limit in Utah where I was at with no traffic around is 80 miles an hour I guess the company speed is 70 miles an hour. Well I wish I was told that in training or by my safety coordinator or by anybody before I went out and drove wouldn't that be nice. Because the problem is it's going to take months of miles to get that back down and that's how severe this infraction is considered. Then they told me I had an improper lane change. With any safety infraction there's supposed to be a video. Well for this one there's not so I can't dispute that whatsoever. What this all amounts to is I can clearly see that they're acting in bad faith and do not intend for me to ever get any kind of safety bonus. I told him that's how I felt and why should I even try now if I know it's a scam. I will just not put any effort into lowering their ######## falsely inflated scam score.
    Also I can clearly see does a production bonus is a scam too. Maybe for their select few Elite brown-nosers it might be possible. But for any regular driver the only reason that bonus is there is just string you along and to keep you motivated under false pretenses.

    If that sounds like fun to you then by all means come work for Knight.

    Also all that got a little jumbled up because I'm on a phone using text-to-speech sitting in this truck I should say a piece of junk that I just got out of the shop waiting for a load that I have to beg for

    And also I think one good big ####ing scam deserves another so I think I'll declare bankruptcy then quit then they can go pound sand down a rat hole getting their $6,000 that I supposedly owe them because I went to their ####ing Swift School. I can't wait for someone to jump on here defending this big pile of #### and saying how wrong I am for declaring bankruptcy so they can't get their school debt. Boo hoo hoo the big giant piece of #### scam company is getting scammed oh no
