Well, what did you expect? You tell someone in charge what they're doing is useless, and destroying your quality of life, but let me leave, and give me credit anyway. I would have given you the boot, too.
"Accept responsibility", as you say, for getting fired from TMC.

But it was useless corporate BS. The class had absolutely no value and I was wasting my precious time off to attend this useless class. I do accept responsibility. Just thought it was a funny story to share on this site. I was just a little bit upset that TMC couldn't come up with a higher quality level of class to force down the drivers throat. That's the problem when a trucking company starts to think they are a university instead! They lose good drivers!
Canned Spam Thanks this. -

I asked a TMC driver parked next to me yesterday about this no shower policy and he looked at me like I'd lost my mind. Said there was plenty enough at TMC to complain about without pulling stuff out of your arse.
Of course the OP has changed his version of how he came to no longer being an employee there so many times i find this whole thread somewhat suspect.drvrtech77, Lonesome, bigred81 and 2 others Thank this. -
Suspect, I guess you can't read! and Yes it's all true, down to the not taking a shower thing. TMC let me down in a very big way! The funny thing is, once i started to run for a different company, and started to breath real oxygen again, I came to realize what a horrible reputation TMC has with other flatbed drivers. They are the low bidder in the industry. I ran from Cincinnati to Wisconsin for the same pay as I am running from Cincinnati to Toledo. LOL

Just for the record they have a policy that you HAVE to shower at least twice a week. In tqm they do suggest not parking up with 3 hours on your clock to take a shower. You should take a shower and roll on down the road.

When the recruiter came to our class during CDL training he reminded me of the Colonel (Sam Trautman) in rambo. His arrogance and how he talked. Like he was better than you. I asked him if they do a lot on the east coast and his answer was they do a 900 mile radius. never really answered my question. Whatever.
I attempted to buy a trailer from them. I called while on the road during training. They told me $16,500 if I came in that day. It was a 1999 Conestoga listed for $19,500. About a month later I drove up there and looked at it. It was pretty rough but I figure $16,500 for a first trailer would be good. I told the guy I called about a month ago and someone told me $16,500. He acted irritated and said the best he could do is take $500 off. I laughed walking out. I.m am sure that trailer paid for itself 100 times over and a big company like them could only take $500 off?
I've met three drivers on the road. Each one of them seemed like really good guys. -
Too much crap.... As in maybe the op has too much time on his hands, thus changing of the story?
Gonna go shower now.Lonesome Thanks this.
