    Now I'm really offended...
Back in the days when I used to train for TMC, nothing indecent ever occurred in the shower between me and my trainee.

When I worked for them they would try to push me like that but I was smart enough to push back and do what I needed to do for myself

I'd like to see some sort of documentation, that they don't want drivers taking a shower. If not, it's all hearsay.

Im just shaking my head regardless. Even as a new driver you got to have more common sense to disregard advice like that no shower for a week to maximize your profits.

Skateboarding and sweating are hand in hand. You can use all the wet wipes you want but nothing will ever replace what is well needed like a shower. You feel refreshed and sleep better. Its amazing the little things we take for granted before comming into this industry. Showers being one of many things.

Pretty sure theres more to this story. Just seems like OP on the rant with no real story to back up what he 'refused' to do in which they asked he resign or whatever.
Easier to blame a company than accept responsibility for whatever happened and tell a full story. Not just a partial bs one.

Accept responsibility!! I am ready and willing to accept responsibility at all and any time as a driver! I think I already told my story but I will again if you need me to. I ran hard for TMC! I was in the top 30% of all line haul drivers! What happened is that i was very tired after running nights for 3 days straight. On my short 34hr weekend, I made the decision to attend their "TQM" class, to learn and gain points as part of their pay scale. As a new driver, there is plenty that I need to learn about the industry. I looked forward to attending this class, thinking that I was running for a top rated company. Like how to eat on the road, time studies of loading and unloading, and/or how to do things quicker and easier. Actual useful knowledge! I have a college degree and know Demming's "Total Quality Management". What I ran into was a whole bunch of useless corporate B.S. It made a mockery out of what Demming developed and is completely out of line with his thinking. With degrees in Economics and Statistics, I spent 15yrs as a "corporate boy". I drive a truck now because I can't stand corporate B.S.! During the class, I told the instructor that his class was useless and destroying my quality of life and that my time would be better served going home and getting some sleep. But I needed to stay in the class to get my points for their pay scale. So i simply asked the instructor if I could go get some sleep and he could give me my points for showing up. He refused but told me that If i opened my mouth again he would ask me to leave. So i kept quit and completed the class. That following monday, after getting my park up points and delivering my load, I was instructed to reload and routed through Des Moines. I did as I was told, got to the yard, completed a trailer swap at 11pm, and the next day was promptly asked to clean out my truck and leave the property. True story!!!! ---- The class did involve being asked what a man was, being told not to take a shower during the week, and setting personal goals that were out of my control

Which is it ? First you said " they asked me to resign" on page two.
Now you say it's clean out your truck and get off the property?
