    This place screws over there trainers and only pays its flat bed trainees $53 per day regardless of miles. My trainer has been screwed over regularly and I'm not even getting a paycheck this week. I did my three days of training which I should have gotten $150 for but I don't have squat. Plus they charge $600 for the training plus they mandate all employees get a twic card even though no one really uses it.

    AVOID WESTERN!!!!

    I did my research and I'm only here for my six months or year if things ever improve. I have no earthly idea why I'm not getting paid, I gave them my ss card Monday and got my fuel, Med cards and a trainer. I also ran all week and did my qualcom logs, I do understand that I don't get paid my daily pay until next week but I should at least get my training pay.

    This is typical otr stuff. You'll wait for a load 1hr to three days. I had to wait in 105 degree hot swampy Laredo at a pilot on the mexican border for three days. Politely remind your dm that you're waiting for a load. As for pay, $53 is about the average, you're a trainee don't expect everything to be handed to you. I earned a crappy .25 cpm working for swift and I did it for 1.5 years earning crappy $400 paychecks.

    Keep your head up, keep going, just get the experience things will get better

    It says you have 2 years experience. Why not quit & get on with a better company ?

    Look into Old Dominion. Pay & hometime is good.
