They'll probably hire him back when he is released, or he will show up here, complaining about being charged with 'truck abandonment', and wanting to know how to fight it.
(Maybe they'll make him a trainer?)

I second the motion. Do not work for Western Express. Their corporate office in Nashville,Tennesee is a pathetic joke. The most unorganized company I have ever dealt with. My question is if you can't run your corporate office with efficiency then how can you run a million dollar company? we came in here for a simple oil change and they found other things needing fixin with the truck. That happens so that's not a big deal. But we have been here all day trying to get questions answered and authorization to go to a motel. The company is so cheap they are afraid to put you up in a motel if there is any way they could get out of it. They treat their drivers like ####!!! And this Nashville terminal is the worst. The incompetence is overwhelming. This is the corporate office and they have drivers standing around because everyone here at the corporate level gives them the runaround!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!!. It boils down to the fact they do not spend one extra cent on their drivers if they can get out of it!!!!!

Western Express is surely going under they are by far the most in bred company I think there is. Most all of the management is family and its the same at their terminals(they are run by family groups) its a shame because it used to be a good company now its pathetic

It's very interesting that they had hired a guy who has a extremely deep knowledge of every last line of the green rules n regs book. The guy can literally read you the regs word for word line by line without opening the book.
