Yeah I don’t know that’s a west coast/ Canada thing. Not an east coast thing like where we live in Florida or Ohio.
@Radman actually had the truck and trailer set up I think for US Foods in Colorado.

I mean I guess if Theres a drop lot that has a straight truck route it makes sense and somewhere in the world that exists, but it’s not very popular or common that is for certain.

    Radman and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Yes sir truck and trailer very popular out west with gas haulers. I guess the set up according to those in the fuel business out west makes sense for what they have to do and can be moved through many tight gas stations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Honestly the only straight trucks I see pulling pup trailers out here in Western Canada these days are dump trucks, vac trucks, fuel trucks and logging trucks. Very rarely do I see a straight van truck with a pup. Even then its usually just a moving van with that short little van cube behind the sleeper and regular 5th wheel coupled van in tow.

I think this set up was in Oregon and belonged to a private beef plant or farm. It defiantly is a private fleet by the looks of it.

Are the “Droms” still popular out west I know Fraz bakery in Oregon had them, but I thought a lot of those may have gone out of style.

It's the cargo box behind the cab of the truck and before the trailer for hauling cargo.
