Do straight trucks pull trailers?

City of Rocky River, Ohio 31 yard Leach 2RII garbage truck converted for leaf pick up during the fall.

 

I've only seen that setup on moving vans.

 

Franz pulled a truck and 2 trailers on 5. It was considered triples.

Similar to a B train config.

 

i think some of the explosive mofos, such as Boyle, use them. Not sure what they use them for though.

I think some explosive equipment has to be separated.

 

Yeah we ran some beefy twinscrew straight trucks. Hook a dolley to the straight truck Pintle hook and pulled a pup behind it.

 

I think the old Hostess had some running in California, prior to their shut down, I don't know if the new reopened Hostess uses them now or not.

That would make a very comfortable sleeper/living environment.
