    Well I got

17 full 53' ft step decks with 36" deck height 384 blocks each

    1 53 step with 272 blocks and 4 pallets

    2 vans for 52 pallets

    that leaves 1 lousy pallet

    18 53' Step Decks and 3 vans

But I'd say you only need 9 steps because you'll load Monday deliver Wednesday bounce back load Friday deliver Sunday all freight to the job in 7 days

Why be a broker? If you think thats a legit rate to haul freight "for such a light load" go buy a truck and find out what a killing you can make hauling "light loads" for $1.80 into vegas :/

Can you use 53' electronics vans? fit more than a standard 53' van.

not really sure why im getting involved in this, but this is a lane we run pretty regular. THERE IS NO CHANCE it will get moved for 1.80. Zero. here is a shot of a Saturday load board (which is left over crap freight and not the good stuff). see that almost 2.50 mile, those are legal loads.

I ran this lane for 3 months phoenix to Kansas city, we would bounce down to Tulsa to Vegas for 2800. Or get chillers to Vegas for 3500. nobody going to haul 1300 miles for 2400, i dont care how light when they can make 3500.

I'm going to the casino. And I'm hauling my winnings back. Might might need to build a side kit

Lowest rate that is going to see one of my trucks in Vegas is 3.00/mi + .58/mi FSC for a flat or step. Even then it would assume a good customer or slow on other work. Today with other freight being pretty strong, I wouldn't head to Vegas for less that 4.00/mi + FSC. I don't care how light it is. No point in going to a dead area if you're not going to make money.

Side note...I am talking pay to the carrier, not truck pay.

Not trying to sound rude to you but,
weight means almost nothing to me, a rates a rate , I don't give light load discounts or half off Thursdays.

Then again... If it's light and small enough to fit in the bed of my 3/4 ton, I'd take 2.95 a mile....
