Do truck drivers, specifically OOs, use any type of to-do list software?

    Google sheets on drive
    Shared to my wife
    Tabs for
    maintenance
    Daily mileage
    Load settlements
    Fuel
    Each quarter ifta
Full list of all expenses so i can sort it at end of year for taxes
And a running tally of want vs need to fix or aquire etc on truck/
time sensitive things (for time sensitive stuff, also a google calender on a yearly reminder schedule with an email to myself (dot inspections, 2290 etc)

For keeping track of other stuff, have a sheet with the whole years bills in it (both truck and personal) so i know at a glance what time each month how much needs to be there and i can be ready to build cash if needed vs just pay down the mortgage aggressively.

I use Google Google Keep for things to do maintenance Etc.

I use a regular handwritten mileage sheet for all of my stops and state mileage and fill ups. For me each sheet can last a week or more so whenever I'm done I total up my miles and total up my fuel for ifta.

I use Quicken for billing I use CamScanner to send PODs and I use Google keep to track unpaid invoices.

I have electronic copies of my authority letter W9 current Insurance and banking information for new brokers. The rest is email.

I use this, it allows quick way to find whichever load # and allows quick invoicing, also keeps up with driver settlements so you just click calendar on whichever dates and can print off a sheet.

plus you can write off as expense, but I do use the cheaper version, have for years

Keep Notes on my phone to keep track of passwords, VIN number, EIN, etc. Everything else I use Excel. I have a master workbook where I keep track of everything about the business on around ten different tabs. If I could figure out the right formula, I bet I could even get it to grease my fifth wheel.

I keep notes in the calendar section of my phone. It chimes when the day has arrived, reminding me to do a particular task. It stays in the phone's memory until I erase it. Simple and works great for me. On a big sleeper truck there's more things to watch so this is useful.

    Be safe,
