I've seen articles periodically about companies being forced to use the EOBR's or e-logs (I had forgotten about that tactic) online. Usually, word will start getting around too. There was a company out of WI that ended up with one of the two earlier this year . . .
If they can't get their drivers to log properly, they deserve what they get though, it's not that hard to do a paper log, and it's not that hard to make sure the drivers are doing it right either.
Do you feel elogs should be mandatory or optional?

Everybody talked about how they were going to quit and strike when they implemented the 14hr and 11 HOS. Nobody did nothing but bend over and take it like a good buddy. Same with E-logs Grab them ankles cowboy

I'll be honest when they put e logs in my truck I had a nervous breakdown and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. But it wasn't as hard to adapt to as I thought. The way I drive I never did my log until the end of the day. So with E logs its easy because it does all the calculations and junk for you. Sometimes it works for you and sometimes it bites you in the butt. But we live, learn and pull up our big boy/girl undies and getter done!!

I wouldn't even contemplate a truck with an EOBR or qualcomm anymore.
