Whats really bad is when you're on your bike and have a brain fart and wait on tha big hole to open up! You know you've been out to long when that happens!

Last time on hometime. I was moving some more junk upnorth to my new home. I've got a 14' enclosed tandem hooked to my Stroker. Well, going up I75, x151 in Michigan, I thought I'd stop at the J. Called a guy in a double and told him to come on out of the driveway, he did. Then I drove right into the fuel lane for big trucks, stopped behind another big truck that was getting fuel. Then the driver of the double saw what I did. He very nicely informed me I was in my 4wheeler. D@#$it all I said, then moved over to the area for the 4wheelers. We both got a laugh out of that!!:biggrin_25511:

Yes, how embarassing. But, the most annoying and solvable issue is my (International) compass spoiled me. I always use my navigator on my cell phone (AT&T), but when I'm insecure about what direction I'm actually facing, so I don't have to turn around "somehow", I look up in my 4-Runner and there's no compass. Plus, all those things you listed (lifting for clutch in an automatic) I've done. My passengers think I'm mental. I wonder myself sometimes. Find me on facebook as Feather Su Transportation.

Does making the motion of releasing the brakes and reaching for the shifter in an automatic car full of people count? Well leaving everyone else completely clueless as to what I just did I just play along and act accordingly right after stating "It's out of habit" And yes, those wide turn's are pain in the ### to.
