I was talking with another driver today. I have had a busy last 2 weeks. For the life of me I could not remember the first trip coming out of the house after home time! Second trip no problem. Then after that trip it was like...let^s see...I dropped that load at Hooterville then went to Bugtussel. No that was last Tuesday. You had a re-power In French like that day...I^m so confused!I

Shoot, I have trouble remember who I am, let alone where I've been.:biggrin_2552: But that is what logs are for. When I first started trucking, I can remember being so tired when I'd break for a meal that I wouldn't know where I was. I've actually had to ask the waitress what town we were in, so I could do a log entry when I got back to the truck. Looking back on it, it's really dumb to run that tired, but when you are first starting out, sometimes you just screw up.

Yeah, I think it's common. I forget all the time. I wake up some mornings and have to look at my bills to remember where I'm going and I have to think for a minute to figure out which direction to turn out of the parking lot, and I have turned the wrong way a time or two.

Especially where you fuel and stop for the night. You just get in the zone and getting work done then realize you don't know what state your in let alone what city. And ya sometime I get asked when I'm dropping off where the load came from and I have to check the Bol to see where I came from.

Well at least we are not the only ones who do this. Once the writing is cold in a notebook, it is lost to the mind, thank goodness for cliff notes is all I can say..

Not just where I been but where I'm headed. The highway numbers I wish I could forget is what I seem to remember.
