No driver,Just happy that in my 31 years I have never injured anyone or had a major accident...
I learned long before CDL schools were ever thought of and I was taught by the one of the best old school drivers around.
Back then we all had great respect for each other and pride in this job.
That is long gone and the new breed has taken over.......Good luck in your career.
I'm glad mine is about over...
Do you move over?

Folks, I just had to delete a bunch of posts in here for insults and bickering. Please be respectful of each other, especially when your opinion differs from someone else's. Some of you managed that, others need to try harder in the future or simply refrain from posting and move on to the next thread.

That's really pathetic. Seriously.

Mooney your raise a very good question, how many people out there are courteous when driving? Not to many by the sound of it, I had the same problem in a work zone a few years back they'd closed one lane down so i had to merge right from the hammer lane do you think anyone would let me in? all it took was one vehicle to slow down a tad so i pretty much had to force my way in.

Sorry if we got out of line Boss!
You know how truck drivers and opinions go together, The @#%$ in a punch bowl phrase comes to mind!

I think we're overlooking the idea that there are situations where you can [easily] and situations where you can not, and situations where it's marginal in terms of disrupting other traffic flow. Why must there be this either-or notion that some want to put forth? Why not some times yes, sometimes no, depends on the situation?
If you're one who simply refuses to move over, partially or fully, no matter the isolation of the roadway, then you're a butt hole. Karma will rectify that situation, sooner or laterrank, Final Drive, Lepton1 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I had mentioned in my post, traffic permitting. This guy is one who simply refuses to move over. Seems to be the norm these days for many though, maybe I'm doing it wrong

You should attend a truck school and then drive a Swift truck. Then your doing it wrong.EZ Money Thanks this.

Just had Creep (Crete) purposely slow my left lane momentum at the last second by passive aggressively using overzealous safety excuse of vacating the right lane for a broke down rig which had a half lane of free space on the shoulder and there was obviously no activity happening at the truck at all.
Then after after I called him on it on the radio he goes over the top acting all friendly with his waving when I passed and blinking his lights when I was clear.
Some drivers must be so bored to create these little mini dramas.
