do you need insurance to register a bigrig

that be a pretty lousy deal to have to insure a truck when all you wanna do is have ownership transfered to your name. it's not going driving any time soon. so why register and insure.

in utah, i don't think you can get ownership changed without actually registering it. then they soon ask for insuranxe copy. used to be a requirement AT the time of registration.

 

Is the title in your name or not? It should be since you say you have the title. You don't "register" a title you "apply" for a title.

"Register" is when you get license plate (register to operate on public road).
