Do you remember your first ride?

I'll never forget it. I was in a 76 Astro 95 with a 290 Cummins back by a 10 speed. Was running team and heading to Miami from Jacksonville FL. Some kid threw a rock over the overpass and broke my windshield. Had to unload the trailer by hand and had 1300 boxes on. It almost killed me at first but got used to it. It was a part-time job because I was still in the service but I ran Fri, Sat, and Sun every weekend. I'd have duty with the Navy about once a month and if it fell on a weekend I had a line of people that wanted to take my duty for $20. I'd pay them then go out and make a $100.

 

Judge ya? He'll, I would've let my 69 Ford pickup go for only the bag of weed at that time! Oh to be young and dumb again.....

 

Oh man, it was some good weed too. I'm surprised I could even get stoned anymore back them. Smoked myself stupid.
