Hello, I am inquiring about the XPO team driver position. Do you have any insights on the consistency of miles and paychecks for team drivers? I've not personally observed XPO hiring team drivers, though I acknowledge this may occur. Considering their recent majority acquisition of Yellow Freight, I suspect a potential surplus of freight for hauling. The reported compensation of $0.87 CPM and dedicated freight is of interest. Your input on this matter is highly valued. Thank you for any information regarding the aforementioned position. Best regards.
Little late for this but no, back in 02 I stopped to help someone who flipped a car along with others. The car was Leaking fuel and was hot and in tall dry vegetation. We helped the man and woman out of the car. Some minor injuries were sustained from helping them out. We were all part of a lawsuit. Cost me thousands defending myself and company. after that I just move over and keep trucking. Will call 911 that’s it.
2x for me... 1st time I was in a residential area. House on fire pulled fat chic out window. 2nd time truck crashed on 81. Caught fire. Pulled big dude out of truck. Half knocked out and broken arm.
No info. This is a new program. We also never got a majority of yrc. Not sure where your getting that info.
I read from a few seemed too be credible sources that xpo bought 40% of yrc freight. I never said it was 100% true just what i read from a few sources. That's why i came with the assumption maybe thats why xpo is hiring team drivers cause ive never seen them hire teams before not saying they never have just haven't seen it since ive been a driver. Thanks for your help. My wife knows a few people in management positions they might be able too get us more info but they are on vacation. I tried calling the recruiter yesterday as well but no answer i left a message. Ill just go ahead and apply and call recruiter after get all the info i can and make my decision. Have a great day be safe out there driver.
I'd make sure the driver was clear. And having worked for xpo when they were Conway, would immediately collect all flammable material and add to the flame.
Not sure if you wanted more info or not still, but wife and I are in the hiring process for XPO team driver position. I'll be happy to answer questions if you have any.
