That stuff sounds like more of a menace that anything. Especially with it kicking the jake on. That's not a good thing on crappy roads.

I'll hold the person that invented it while you pound him/her. :biggrin_2559:

It amazes me how drivers will tailgate cars running 60+ mph. See it all the time. I always make sure I drop speed and distance when in heavy traffic. I always try to make sure I can stop before I run someone over. Even if that means backing off the throttle to keep a safe distance.

I've had drivers talk crap over the CB because I wasn't right up on cars. I just think its stupid to take the risk. I run close to 80,000 pounds almost all the time. I know my stopping distance. I'll drive my truck and you drive yours. I will not be a statistic or a link to some story where a truck killed a family 'cause his dumbaass wouldn't slow down.

I would but my head would explode just trying to put together the thoughts :biggrin_2559:

BUT I decided today I am going to make a video about 4 wheelers bad driveing. I'm just going to let the camera run on the tri pod all day while I drive, then at night take the parts where a 4 wheeler did something stupid or dangerous and put them all together into a video, its amazing the things that people do and live to talk about after.

Today I was going 65mph in the hammer lane (2 lane portion of I-70 in OHIO) and passing a scared women to affraid to go more then 45 in a light mist, So I got into the hammer lane about 300 yards away from her, and just as im getting close to her i see this teenage kid right next to my tractor and he hammers down and tried to shoot the gap....well HE DIDNT MAKE IT :biggrin_25513: nope he was to stupid to see how much faster i was going then her and he had to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting her....nothing I could do at that point but laugh at him.

I also agree with slowing down for tailgaters, my grandmother taught me that, one time we had a cop tailgateing us and she slowed down to 25mph in a 45, so he pulled us over and my grandma b&$^$ched him out for tailgateing and he just appologized and let her go.

So I do the same thing, I will slow down as much as it takes to make you go around, I go the speed limit NOT ONE OVER PEIRIOD!

I had a Truck driver today try to pass me on the left, he was shot down by a 4 wheeler attempting the same thing so he jerks the wheel to the right and passed me on the right at 65mph in a 55mph zone...So I grab my mic and said "your an impatiant mother F^$%cker arnt you?" and he says "I get paid by the mile ya know?, I dont make any money going slow" so I said "your not going to make any money if your paying tickets for speeding in a work zone and driving like an a$%h0le either" and he says "you wont pay tickets if you dont get caught, and i've never been caught" so I said "it wont take long driving that POS truck, sticks out like a mexican truck!" he says "ya its a POS but it gets the job done"

He said all of that all nice and calm like it was nothing.....

His truck....OLD FLD no mudflaps on neither the truck nor trailers, half the lights didnt work, zip ties and duct tape holding the body together and the truck and trailer USED to be white....not so much anymore :biggrin_25513:

OH I got more, so today I slowed down to 55mph for the construction zone and a Roehl and a Prime truck FLY by me, so I wait and when I speed limit goes back up to faster then they can do I catch back up and get next to them and said "so what did you get out of speeding through that construction zone prime? it didnt get you anywhere except back behind MY truck, plus you wasted fuel in your Rent-a-Truck, and you risked a DOUBLE fine for speeding!" No reply......

Did the same to roehl except for the renta truck thing, and again no reply they just looked down then away....IDIOTS!

:biggrin_2559: I feel slightly better...I'm on a 34 hour reset so I might post more later hahaha
