So if someone were to steal your tarps then, even though they would be stolen tarps, you think it would be ok as far as the guy that was buying them. That the buyer wouldn't be doing anything wrong? A deal is a deal. right?

It is possible he's not stealing them. I have given away a pair of those plastic ones. I went to the rubber and steel type. I found the plastic ones to be a pita on smaller coils. Plus they could be the lighter ones built into plastic wrapped coils as someone else mentioned. They get thrown away all the time at mills.

It speaks to character.......some people have it, others don't think it's needed in their life......it's like using a foot wedge in golf.......it's wrong, everyone knows it's wrong, but some people can't help themselves......but everyone at the club knows who the cheaters are, and either avoid them, or if it's a money game, follow them around, keeping an eye on them.....I prefer having character, and having people trust me.

Buying something you know is stolen is standing on the side of the thief.
Somebody somewhere is missing that ladder, or those tarps, or that tank of fuel. Maybe it's somebody who can't afford the loss.

Right.....clearly you are great at rationalizing..........but if it's too good to be true, you know it's stolen....
