If some lard ### trucker came up to me with a new My Little Pony 16" bicycle, I'd have to think he might have stolen it. Just like if someone pulls up in a van full of new, unopened merchandise, I'd suspect something was amiss. A driver selling used stuff? I wouldn't think twice.

And that's what this posting points out. It's pretty common for people to sense wrong behavior. Call it intuition or common sense or gut instinct. My guess is that less than a quarter of buyers would truly be unaware. But most have no proof. They're not looking for proof. They're looking for an easy way to absolve themselves of guilt.
