The last 3 Pilots I showered at I had to wait for a shower . If I have to wait for a shower I'll go back to Love's . I'll have no problem purchasing over 1,000 gallons of fuel a month and earning Platinum status so I get a free coffee every purchase instead of after buying 9 .
If the shower is actually clean, I do leave a dollar an whatever loose change I have. I feel for the people that clean them. I pick up after myself, wash any hair from the sink if I shaved etc. But there are a number of nasty drivers that leave a disgusting mess because they dont have too clean it. It has to be one of the worst jobs besides driving a 55mph Prime truck.
As a person who has done this job, look no further then your entitled attitudes as to why your rest stops and shower experiences have been terrible as a whole. I use to respect truck drivers untill this job. I don't want your lousy tips! The lack of respect you show towards yourselves ,your fellow truck drivers and those that serve you is appalling! Most of you are disgusting pigs, you show no sense of concern or appropriation for the folks that clean up after you. I heard a couple crying because they have to wait on a shower, lol, like that's all trucks stops require of us, just serving the showers. No, our plate is actually quite full. I busted my ### ensuring that waits where minimal and your showers were always clean, but after six months of the reasons I posted above, yeah, I really didn't care what any of you had to say, just shut up get in your shower and get the hell out.
You get paid an hourly rate, deal with it, if you want tips, bartend near a truck stop? I'll tip you then.
I do. A buck plus whatever change I have in my pocket. If your shower totally sucks you ain't getting nothing.
Dude, just like most people in my profession don't give a sheet about me, with your attitude I feel the same about you, shut the F up and clean my shower.
