That's the truth. Nashville & Clarksville get super wild when there's a big deployment from Ft. Campbell. When I was in the Navy; same in the port cities. The ships leave for deployment & many of the crying wives waving on the pier couldn't wait until the ship was out of sight, then the bars and nightclubs are full. I was never an angel; didn't claim to be and didn't want to be.

One time in a hotel nightclub in Hong Kong, one of the officers went to the restroom in the lobby. Oh, my, he sees his wife and some other officers wives entering the hotel lobby planning a big surprise for their officer husbands. They flew from San Diego to Hong Kong for the big surprise without informing the husbands. This LT. was quick thinking; as soon as he spotted his wife, he storms for the elevator yelling how disgusted he is that married men are acting this way and that he's leaving, and refuses to participate. Believe it or not, she fell for it. Every one else got caught with the hottie Chinese women sitting on their laps. Fun to watch. I was enlisted & back in those days enlisted and officer partied together in port, but it was back to business at sea.

shed the "girl" in question and live an issue free life while you drive.you will meet the one woman that will change your attitude and thus your trust in the female gender.you are too young to have the burden of not trusting the one that you now date.your intuition/lack of trust is most likely accurate but why suffer through it?

move on my forum friend.you will feel the burden being lifted and then gone in no time.you are wasting your life on something that will never be.

    quick update:

I am at home.... and there's no power now! hehehe I'm packing up my stuff and hauling it to the storage unit I rented yesterday. ex-gf is freaking out, crying, and begging me to reconsider! Lol

I'm staying calm, explained to her that IT IS OVER, GOODBYE.

Man, this feels great, I feel like a 1000pds is being lifted off of me.

    will update more later

Good for you. Never look back...there are good women out there, you just have to be patient. Remember, choose a friend and someone who thinks you are the greatest thing....because we usually get what we accept.

That weight that feels like it's been lifted - that is confirmation you've done well.

It doesn't sound like you'll be tempted, but please don't be tempted to hit the rewind button.

    Enjoy life my friend.

    thanks everyone,

I'm sitting at a Waffle House trying to breathe...Lol
    What a day!
I got all of my things moved into the storage unit with the help of a friend. exgf took off with a girlfriend, she didn't take any of her belongings though. So I don't know what she is planning to do? Not my problem. She seemed kind of stunned and shocked, hehehe.

I have the power to the apartment turned off and told the landlord that I will pay for someone to clean it up in a few days. He was fine with that, said he is going to change the locks, and if her belongings are still in there he will bag them up and take them Goodwill!!!

Thanks everyone for waking me up, I sure been needing that for way too long! I'm seeing her in a different light now, she looks evil to me now.

I'm gonna get me a nice motel room for the next few days and just chill out. And hang out here with you guys!

I love Waffle House! I run mostly west and north and don't get down to the SE very often this time of year so I don't get to stop there very often. We have two of them in Michigan. One is over in the Detroit area (never go there...thankfully) and the other is just off I-94 at the M-51 exit (an old Stuckeys) and you can't turn around there easily.

I don't think your landlord can (legally) just give her stuff to a Goodwill...but that's really not your problem...so who cares? (more out of that Tom Leykis book lol)

Good call on the motel room Bub. Relax...enjoy a couple of days of off time and unwind. Then get back on the road and quit your fricken' complaining. Welcome to truckin' bro. Good luck to you!
