I still talk to drivers at the Pilot that are telling me the ez-pass are not working in CA or OR due to switching to some new system.
Do you work for Interstate Distributor?

I havent had any issue with mine. Maybe they need to call the Licensing Dept.

Was talking to a recruiter today about going to Interstate. They seem cool. They cap at .39cp. Trucks 62mph.
I just hope going down there for orientation there DOT doctors pass me. They do a fitness test (I am out of shape) , neck size (sleep apena) I take blood pressure medicine and metformin for diabetes. -

I drive for IDC. I'll answer an questions I can. Been off TTR for awhile, I just remembered my password to get back on.
IDC runs 48. We have 3 main terminals: Tacoma, WA Fontana, CA and Lebanon, TN. IDC allows pets with a $750 non-refundable check. If you're strapped, they'll do payroll deduction. Pets are not allowed on the Reefer board (where I drive).
Reefer is pretty much (90%) an I-5 corridor operation. Miles fluctuate, but in general are pretty good. I average 2700 miles a week; last week I got 3185. When I was Western 11 dry van, I'd average 2850/week (but I had a great FM).
Basic stats: Trucks are newish Cascadias and KW, all condo cabs. No APU's on trucks, invertors (1000w-1500w), shore power, bunk heaters and best of all Refrigerators. Idle policy is 20% but they don't harass you on it. Trucks will idle above 72 degrees and below 25. Trucks all have Cummins ISX with EF 10 speed transmissions (there are a couple of automatics the company is testing). They also have Qualcomm with on board scanners and ELOGS.
Pay: They just updated the pay plan to include some bonuses, so pay attention to the recruiter on that. I can't speak intelligently on the new pay plan because I opted out of it (worked better for me). I can tell you that pay is accurate and on time. Payroll dept is very active and helpful if there is a problem.
They cleaned up the scale situation in CA. Nowadays I'm surprised when the prepass say to pull in.
Feel free to PM me if you wish. I'd prefer to answer questions on the board so other can benefit.

BigRigFisher324 Thanks this.

Sounds like someone who had a bad experience and wants to blame it on the company... Honestly, I've sat without a load 2 times in the past year. Both times were a short 34 and right back at it. Only had one repair hold me down for more than a day and I was at my home terminal.
skyviper73 and BigRigFisher324 Thank this. -
Do they force to chain?
-
Last time I looked at their website they were a force chain company but most in the west are that way anyways.. Maybe their terminal back east has a different policy
