That's kinda what I'm looking for there. Just my restart or a bit more every week. I really miss interstate. They treated me fairly and kept cool heads when I went down hard after my granmum passed. So I have been hoping to get back on. I was ran out of Lebanon last time and my dispatcher wasn't the best but he kept me moving. Although he did make me stay out over thanksgiving. Told me holidays were required.
Do you work for Interstate Distributor?

I'm not sure where you would run out of now. They closed the Kansas City office, but we still have the drop yard there. I don't know about holidays being required. I was home for Christmas last year, but you know now that I think about it, for Thanksgiving, I was running around between the Omaha area and St. Joseph, MO. I think I delivered to a Menard's in St. Joseph on the morning of Black Friday. That was a little crazy. Trying to get into the parking lot with all the insane shoppers. I was like, you wanna buy stuff, I first gotta deliver it! LOL

Belinda is my Dispatcher for the time being. She told me the miles would be about 2200 during the four days out. It's about 550 miles from Dallas to Kansas City, so I will basically do a trip a day is what it amounts to. This gig is a slip seat situation once they get a driver who wants the other side during my 4 days off, which I hope never happens, lol, but, probably will. I am looking forward to getting on the road with Interstate tomorrow. Good luck to ya!

Just checking in to see how the miles are going for all? I been running hard hitting 2800 to 3100 and getting home weekly. I really love working with the team out of Dallas. Go IDC!

Glad to hear that you are doing so well. Not so with me. They don't seem to know what to do with me as a 4 days on/4 days off driver. Last pay period: 844 miles. Fortunately, I have other income sources, so livelihood does not depend on this gig. So far, nice people and ok equipment, no micro-managing, but miles are really bad in my case. Recruiter Brandi set my expectations at about 2200 miles a week doing mostly Dallas/Kansas City. Since starting on 9/22, have done that run only twice. Not planning to leave right away, because really like the 4/4 schedule, but may re-consider that if things don't improve in next month or two.

I start orientation Monday the 10th at Fontana. Will be on the 14/2 plan western 11. Been with Swift last 2 years doing 6 weeks out 2-4 days home but having to clean out truck each rotation then drive from Mira Loma to Vegas then back to Mira Loma and a different truck .... always a worse one. My recruiter (I know they are prone to misstatements) says I will be home every 2 weeks. We'll see if that holds true. Hopefully the short drive time won't kill my miles.
ATX Thanks this. -
I have 2800 miles in the past 5 days and another 459 to drive tomorrow. That will make for a 3200+ mile week. No problem at all getting miles. Sunday through Friday.
ATX Thanks this. -
